It’s almost spring in the Adirondacks and the views are breathtaking! Join us as we ascend Noonmark Mountain and enjoy views of Keene Valley and the Ausable Club from the open ledges of Stimson Trail. The climbing gets easy 1.5 miles into our hike as we follow the ridge to the lookout that offers spectacular views of the Great Range. Just a short distance from the lookout, we come to two ladders before the trail enters the woods. The summit, a mere 2.5 miles from our starting point, opens up 360-degree unobstructed views in all directions. In the West, the Great Range dominates, the Dix Range lies to the South, and Giant Mountain to the Northeast. We will also catch glimpses of both Rainbow Falls and Beaver Meadow Falls. No other climb this season will reward you with such grand views for so little effort.
